YSCC is all about YOU, the user. We have worked hard on global integration of the website. That is 1 account for the wiki, blog and forum. No multiple log-in nonsense :) To register, hover over 'Account' there in the top right hand corner and hit 'Register' when it drops down. Logging in and out of the site is done via this account tab, not within the individual components of the site.
To navigate around the site - use the icons in the top left hand corner of the site.
The search bar in the top navigation bar currently works for individual components of the site but 'Entire Site' search is still a work in progress.
The left sidebar is your 'user home'. At the moment it really is quite basic, when you're on wiki pages, blog posts or forum threads, you can 'Add to favourite'. Basically - it's bookmarks integrated into the website. Moving forward, the left sidebar will enable us to provide you with a lot more cool features but I hope you enjoy the 'favourites' for now.
I think that about covers everything for now. I hope you enjoy YSCC in 2012. As if it wasn't clear enough - YSCC is all about YOU, our members. We want this to be the best user experience it can be and we've designed the site to be driven by you.
